Hospital Policies

Appointment Policy

To allow ample time for all patients and scheduled surgical procedures, we operate primarily by appointment. Emergency cases shall always receive top priority, which is why occasional appointment delay is inevitable. Please realize that we make a sincere attempt to see each client on time.

Patient Arrival Policy

For your protection and that of others, all dogs must be on a leash and properly controlled while in the waiting area or exam rooms. All cats must be presented in an appropriate cat carrier.

For an additional fee, drop-off appointments may be available. A ‘drop off’ means you could bring your pet and leave him/her with us. Usually, we will ask you to drop off sometime in the morning, so our doctor can examine the patient in between appointments. Once the doctor is done, we will give you a call to go over the diagnosis and to give you discharge instructions. We cannot promise an exact pick-up time.

For the safety of all animals in our care, we require that all vaccinations be up to date. Even though we make every effort to make our patients feel comfortable during visits, they may be a little uneasy about new people, new surroundings and other pets.

Payment Options

In order to maintain our high standard of service, we require that payment is made at the time services are rendered. We provide estimates for all surgeries and hospitalizations. If you have not received an estimate, you are welcome to request one at any time for your expected charges. We accept cash, checks, and all major credit/debit cards. We also encourage our clients to explore insurance and financing options including:

When unexpected illness strikes a pet, unexpected expense strikes as well. We understand this and accept payment through the CareCredit program. It takes just 5 minutes to complete an application and will allow you to break down your payment into 6 monthly installments. You can apply yourself online.
